Ear Surgery in Baton Rouge

For anyone who is self-conscious about the appearance of their ears, ear surgery (also called otoplasty) can quickly, safely, and effectively alter the size and shape of the ears.

This procedure is most often performed on patients in their youth, between the ages of five and fourteen; however, it can be successfully performed on adults as well. Otoplasty usually takes between two and three hours to complete.

Ear surgery begins when Dr. Williams makes an incision behind the ear. From there, he will sculpt the cartilage and remove the excess. After the ears are moved closer to the head, non-removable stitches may be used to hold them in their new position.
